Dr. Bhivraj Suthar
Assistant Professor, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, IIT Jodhpur
Dr. Bhivraj Suthar is an Assistant Professor of Robotics at the School of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, IIT Jodhpur, and is affiliated with the Robotics & Mobility Systems and AIIMS MedTech Centre. His research focuses on bio-inspired and wearable robotics, brain-robot interfaces, prosthetics, exoskeletons, and AI-driven assistive technologies. He previously held postdoctoral positions at Khalifa University (UAE) and Chungnam National University (South Korea).
Dr. Suthar holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) from the Korea University of Technology and Education, an M.Tech. from IIT Delhi, and a B.E. from CTAE, Rajasthan. He has published 22 journal papers and over 40 conference papers in leading international venues and has received several prestigious awards, including the WearRAcon Innovation Challenge Award, James Dyson Design Award (Top 10), and the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award.
Prof. Anand Mishra
Assistant Professor, Psychology in the School of Liberal Arts at IIT Jodhpur
Dr. Suman Dhaka is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the School of Liberal Arts at IIT Jodhpur and an affiliated faculty member in the School of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. She specializes in cognitive neuroscience, neuropsychology, and cognitive psychology. Her research focuses on the multidisciplinary study of affect regulation, interactions between sleep and emotion, and their influence on human behavior and decision-making. She previously served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at NIT Rourkela before joining IIT Jodhpur in December 2020. Dr. Dhaka earned her integrated B.Tech–M.Tech in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Rajasthan and completed her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology at IIT Guwahati. Her work employs EEG, sleep studies, brain stimulation, and computational modeling to investigate the neural bases of emotion–cognition interactions.
Dr. Dhaka leads funded research projects and has published her work in peer-reviewed journals. She maintains active collaborations with national and international researchers. Her awards and fellowships include DAAD, DST-CSRI, DST-IAS, DBT-IPLS, FENS–IBRO PERC, and the Brain Prize travel grant.

Does IIT Jodhpur also offer a B.S/B.Sc in Applied AI and Data Science on campus?
There are other BTech and B.S/B.Sc programs available on the campus. However, a program specifically in Applied AI and Data Science is a first and not offered on campus.
Will those enrolled in the program have access to IIT Jodhpur’s campus facilities?
There will be optional campus immersions. These immersions will be for 3-5 days at the IIT campus, every year. There will be additional fees for immersion, accommodation, and food. Other than this, students can always visit the campus and look around.
What are the eligibility criteria for the degree program?
Students must have completed their 12th grade or equivalent education with a minimum of 60% and Mathematics as a mandatory subject.
What is the total tuition for the program?
The Total Tuition comprises Rs. 1,20,000 per year for four years,

The primary eligibility criterion is a passing grade of at least 60% in your 12th or equivalent exams. Additionally, it's essential that Mathematics be a mandatory subject in your 12th-grade curriculum.
Is there an entrance exam for admission?
Yes, Students who have not cleared JEE (Mains) will need to sit for our qualifier exam to meet the eligibility requirements for this program. Upon successfully passing the qualifier exam, students can proceed with their application process seamlessly.

Yes, a physical degree will be provided. This degree will be from IIT Jodhpur.
