Prof. Pradipta Biswas is an Associate Professor at the Department of Design and Manufacturing and the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber-Physical Systems at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. With extensive experience across academia and industry, he has also served as Senior Principal Engineer at Collins Aerospace Systems and as Co-Chairman of the IRG-AVA, International Telecommunication Union (ITU). He is also a member of several prestigious global associations, including the UKRI International Development Peer Review College, the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), the British Computer Society, and the Royal Society of Medicine.
Prof. Biswas’s research focuses on human psychology and its intersections with technology, particularly visual and auditory perception, rapid aiming movement, and problem-solving strategies in human–machine interaction and extreme interaction environments. A Gates-Cambridge Scholar, he holds an M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. With multiple global publications and awards to his name, Prof. Biswas has taught extensively in the areas of UI/UX, Intelligent Interaction, and AI–ML, and his pioneering work includes research on the Industrial Metaverse.

Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Diploma holders may also apply.
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred in UI/UX design, graphic design, front-end development, product design/marketing, CX, growth, or founder’s office roles.
Exceptional fresh graduates or diploma holders with strong fundamentals may be considered via screening.
Comfort with programming (Python preferred), familiarity with networking/data structures, and basic knowledge of design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
All applicants must clear a pre-screen exam testing design aptitude, logical reasoning, and familiarity with AI/UX fundamentals.
